Our Commitment to Your Well-being
A message to residents regarding Coronavirus/COVID-19 from Chief Operating Officer Brian Stann
At the center of FirstKey Homes’ purpose is to improve the quality of living for our residents, and it’s something we take to heart. Our highest priority is the health and well-being of our residents and team members; our thoughts are with those impacted by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, and we’re taking proactive steps to address the situation.
We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing and are committed to being responsive to the needs of our residents and team members as we navigate this dynamic situation.
Our teams have been monitoring the situation closely and taking precautions to keep our residents and employees safe. We wanted to reach out and share what we have been doing so you’ll be up-to-date and can continue enjoying your home.
Proactive Steps We’ve Taken:
- We created a Core Response Team to monitor national and local recommendations; we are meeting daily and will continue to update you as needed.
- We began communicating with you about precautions and for your well-being at the end of February. Please delay routine service requests if anyone in your household has a fever or flu-like symptoms.
- We have equipped maintenance teams with gloves, disinfecting wipes and masks as an extra precaution for your (and their) protection.
- We have advised our team members to stay home if they have flu-like symptoms. Keep this in mind when you see our technicians wearing masks and gloves; it doesn’t indicate that they have symptoms but rather is a required precaution for their and your protection.
As we do our part to make wellness a priority, we encourage you to take notice of measures from the CDC for preventing or spreading the virus.
We’ve also compiled a list of helpful tips for staying healthy at home and reminders about online services and precautions to take if you aren’t feeling well.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we do what we can to keep our residents and our team members healthy and happy. Be on the lookout for an email from us providing further information and reiterating some of these details. Continue to monitor your email and our social media accounts for updates; if you don’t already, please follow us on Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter to stay informed.
